|
|
Well the LAN is over till the next one, in September.
I thought it was a good LAN nice to see some new faces there, and all the old ones.
I will post the scores a but later, but we did have some certificates to hand out, and the trophy so we will have to do that at the start of the next event.
So what did people thing? Good bits? Bad bits? Funny bits?
Also I would welcome any suggestions in changing the games in the tournament, just needs not to need steam or internet connection to work.
I know several people have expressed an opinion to replace CoD4 with CoD2 as people seem to be enjoying that a lot more.
But please feel free to add your own suggestions
Until next time

I think it was another smooth lan :]
Good game selections but could of been better if steam wasn't a pain. I'll look into some steamless options for next time.
I think there was a few times where people did there own thing and watched videos etc which put quite a stop on the gaming but then again everyone can't play everything.
I think Blur was a fantasatic lan game as nobody had played it and it was different to the normal FPS, maybe for next lan there will be another game with the same attributes, like airfix / insane of lans past.
Oh and if me and pig get slapped in the face again I WILL be breaking fingers!!!!!!!!!!! no joke. _________________ C2Q 6600 : Shuttle SD37P2 : 8800GTS 512mb : 4gb GEIL : WD 500GB x4 : Lacie 1TB |

I enjoyed it! i think a dedicated schedule that we stick to for tournament games would be good, Blur was a great change and i would deffinatly go for old school COD 2, although i did enjoy the gun game challenge on COD4. i know its old school but what about the original Unreal Tournament? _________________ Sponsored by Monster Energy |

I've got a cracked copy of Unreal Tournament (not that it was protected in the first place). Well the 1999 Game of the Year edition anyway.
Will run on pretty much any machine, I think the minimum specs are Windows 95 lol
Some of the mutators in that game are awesome. Insta-gib is cool, as is chainsaws instead of the impact hammer.
Plus, the ability to insult people in-game with the voice command system is pretty cool to, although you can use much better insults if you use an external system like shouting _________________ Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4
