The Terms:-
“zombie[LAN]” means the provider of the Service, includes any representative of or person employed by zombie[LAN];
You” is the end user of the Services, either paying or non-paying but partaking in some manner of the Services;
“Partaking” is a term defined by zombie[LAN] at its sole discretion;.
“Event” is a term used to describe that activity as organised by zombie[LAN] for You;
“Network” is a term used to describe the local area network or LAN at the Event;
“Material” is a term used to describe files or any matter that can be passed via the Network from computer to computer.
This document outlines but does not limit the agreement between zombie[LAN] and You.
Upon agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you enter an agreement with zombie[LAN] which whilst partaking You will follow and adhere to. If your actions or partakings fall outside of the Terms and Conditions zombie[LAN] reserves the right to ask You to leave with no right of refund. This may also operate to terminate any other agreement you have or may have with zombie[LAN] at the Event or future events (such decision regarding termination of other agreements to be at the sole discretion of zombie[LAN]).
Our obligations
It is the intention of zombie[LAN] to provide you with a connection to the Network for the sole use of computer gaming and or communication only, and it will make all reasonable endeavors to do this.
zombie[LAN] will make all reasonable endeavors to maintain and provide this service and other Services.
zombie[LAN] assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any interruption mis-delivery or failure of this service or any other Services.
zombie[LAN] will provide members of staff in a security role. This does not in any way imply or guarantee the safety of your objects/belongings whilst You are at the Event, nor guarantee your personal safety.
zombie[LAN] will make all reasonable endeavors to provide Services at the Event in a safe manner. If zombie[LAN] at its sole discretion deems You or your equipment to be non safe then it reserves the right to ask You to leave the Event with no right of refund on your part. This action may also have the effect of terminating any other agreements zombie[LAN] may have with you at the Event, such decision to be at the sole discretion of zombie[LAN].
zombie[LAN] will at its discretion monitor Network traffic.
Any Service provided by zombie[LAN] can at the sole discretion of zombie[LAN] be withdrawn without notice at any time.
zombie[LAN] reserves the right to refuse entry to the Event to You or any person whatsoever without a right of refund. This action may also operate to cancel any other agreement with You at the Event, such decision to be at the sole discretion of zombie[LAN].
zombie[LAN] assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any food or drink provided by zombie[LAN] at the Event or any actions or consequences arising from the consumption of such food or drink.
zombie[LAN] assumes no responsibility of warranties or guarantees of prizes at zombie[lan] events. Prizes and competitions may change without prior warning. The final decision for competition prize/tournament winners resides with zombie[LAN]. If prizes are not awarded at the event please allow up to 28 days for delivery, all prizes are sent by registered post and zombie[LAN] take no responsibility for items damaged or lost in the post.
Your obligations
You shall provide your own hardware and ensure that it is safe for use at the Event.
Whilst at the Event you shall behave in a manner that does not cause undue stress, intimidation or physical unrest towards any other person/animal.
At all times you must comply with the Terms and Conditions as published by zombie[LAN]. zombie[LAN] is entitled to modify or change the Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice.
Whilst at the Event you are still subject to criminal law and will face consequences of any vandalism or any criminal behavior. It is your right to complain or seek guidance at any time from the Event organisers.
On any forms or communication you must provide an accurate and true record of any personal information that is requested.
You agree to indemnify zombie[LAN] (including, to avoid any uncertainty, its staff and representatives) harmless from any claim or demand whatsoever made by any party as a result of actions arising at the Event or as a result from Partaking of the Event (including all reasonable legal fees and disbursements incurred by zombie[LAN] or its staff or representatives)
Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in the agreement between You and zombie[LAN] being terminated. This may also operate to terminate any other agreement between You and zombie[LAN]. zombie[LAN] also reserves the right to ask you to leave the Event.
You agree not to re-sell any part of the Service or Event to any other party.
AUP or Acceptable Use Policy
You shall not bring with You any Material that is illegal in the UK to the Event.
You shall not introduce a virus or any other third party program designed to spy block or interfere with any of the Network or computers at the Event.
Creation of any network external to the Network provided by zombie[LAN] during the Event is forbidden.
Any behavior that does or may affect the hardware of zombie[LAN], Network or any other computer at the Event will not be tolerated.
Failure to follow this Policy will result in the offending person/s being asked to leave the Event with no right of refund and possible cancellation of any other agreements with zombie[LAN] at this Event or future zombie[LAN] events.
I understand that I am committing to the zombie[LAN] event and should I not turn up on the days the event is being held, I will still honor and pay the registration fee. I am only exempt from paying the registration fee if I cancel 7 days before the LAN event and get an acknowledged cancellation email from a zombie[LAN] administrator.
I bring my own PC and equipment at my own risk; the administrators of zombie[LAN] cannot and will not be held responsible for any damages/loss to my possessions that may occur whilst attending the zombie[LAN] event.
